Unexpected verdict
When a verdict doesn't match what you expected.
Verdicts are AI judgments based on the thread and your brand's positioning. They're usually sensible, but they can be wrong.
If threads that clearly fit get skip:
- Check your positioning describes the problems you solve in plain words, not only features.
- Look at the thread's comments: if people push back on recommendations or brand mentions, a skip is likely and usually right.
If unrelated threads get good or weak:
- Add who you're not for to your positioning.
- Be more specific about your category.
Remember: a weak verdict is a hint to be careful, not a green light. And you can always decide for yourself: the verdict is advice.
Completed analyses use a credit whatever the verdict, so a verdict you disagree with isn't refunded automatically. If something looks clearly broken (for example, the reason talks about a different thread), email hello@threadmention.com with the link and we'll take a look.
