Credits and billing
How credits work
1 credit = 1 completed thread analysis. Prepaid, no subscription.
ThreadMention uses prepaid credits. There's no subscription and no monthly fee.
- One completed analysis uses one credit, whatever the verdict: good, weak or skip.
- Analyses that can't be completed cost nothing: threads we confirm we can't read (for example removed, deleted or private), threads detected as not in English, invalid links, or confirmed failures on our side.
- Locked or archived threads may still be readable. If the analysis completes, it uses one credit, so check that a thread still accepts comments before you paste it.
- Your balance is shown in the sidebar and on the Account page, which also lists each set of credits with its expiry date.
- When credits expire at different times, the ones expiring soonest are used first.
