Getting started
What is ThreadMention?
A drafting assistant that helps you decide where and how to join Reddit conversations, naturally.
ThreadMention helps marketers and founders take part in Reddit conversations the right way. You give it a Reddit thread and some context about your brand. It reads the post and its top comments and tells you whether your brand genuinely belongs in that conversation.
For each thread you get:
- A verdict: good, weak or skip, with a one-sentence reason.
- For good and weak threads, typically 2 to 3 draft starting points, each written from a different angle.
- For good and weak threads, typically 3 to 5 talking points you could build your own reply around.
You then rewrite the draft in your own words and post it yourself, from your own Reddit account.
What ThreadMention is not
- It does not post to Reddit, and it never connects to your Reddit account.
- It is not a bot, an autoposter or a mass-commenting tool.
- It does not find threads for you. You choose which threads to analyze. The best source is the list of Reddit threads AI assistants already cite for your topics, which most GEO tools show. See Which Reddit threads should I analyze?.
- It does not guarantee leads, traffic, upvotes, AI citations or that a comment will stay up.
Why Reddit
AI assistants and search engines often draw on Reddit discussions when they answer questions. Being part of the right conversations, helpfully and honestly, can influence how people (and the tools they use) see your brand. ThreadMention is built to help with the hardest part: knowing where you belong and where you don't.
