Community rules
Every subreddit has its own rules. Read them before you post.
Each subreddit sets its own rules on top of Reddit's sitewide rules. Look for them in the subreddit's sidebar or "About" section. Common ones:
- no self-promotion, or only in a weekly thread,
- no links, or no links to your own site,
- a minimum account age or karma to post,
- no AI-generated content.
ThreadMention judges each thread from the post and its top comments, which often show what a community tolerates. It does not read the subreddit's rules page. Always check the rules yourself before posting. If a community doesn't allow what you planned, skip it.
